Job Description
- Candidates applying for this post are appointed to spend most of the day outside, delivering mail and packages by foot or by vehicle to customers on your route working at this post.
- They’re also accountable for returning to the depot to unload the day’s incoming mail and packages for later delivery working at this post.
Job requirement
- Candidates must have a valid Class 5 or Class G driver’s license with a safe driving record for at least 3 years to be eligible for this post.
- People must have the physical ability to lift mail items weighing up to 22.7 kg and carry items weighing up to 15.9 kg regularly throughout the day to be eligible for this post.
- People must attain the ability to work in all types of weather.
- People must have experience in customer service and must attain experience in making deliveries or working as a driver for this post.
- Applicants must attain the availability to be on-call and must attain the ability to read, write and speak English and French to be eligible for this post.
