Job Description
- They’re appointed at this post to spend most of the day outside, delivering mail and packages by foot or by vehicle to customers on the route applied for this post.
- Candidates working at this post are required to return to the depot to unload the day’s incoming mail and packages for later delivery applied for this post.
Job requirement
- Candidates working at this post must have a valid Class 5 or Class G driver’s license with a safe driving record for at least 3 years to be eligible for this post.
- They must attain the physical ability to lift mail items weighing up to 22.7 kg and carry items weighing up to 15.9 kg regularly throughout the day to be considered as an asset for this post.
- Applicants must attain the ability to work in all types of weather and must have the availability to be on-call to be eligible for this post.
- They must attain the ability to read, write and speak English and French to be considered as an asset for this post.
Work setting
- People applying for this post must have experience in customer service and must attain dedicated experience making deliveries or working as a driver.
