Job Description
- Applicants working at this post are required to spend most of the day outside, delivering mail and packages by foot or by vehicle to customers on your route applied for this post.
- They’re also appointed at this post to return to the depot to unload the day’s incoming mail and packages for later delivery working at this post.
Job requirement
- Candidates must have a valid Class 5 or Class G driver’s license with a safe driving record for at least 3 years to be eligible for this post.
- Candidates must attain the physical ability to lift mail items weighing up to 22.7 kg and carry items weighing up to 15.9 kg regularly throughout the day to be considered as an asset for this post.
- Applicants must attain the ability to work in all types of weather and ensure the availability to be on-call.
- Candidates must attain the ability to read, write and speak English and/or French to be considered as an asset for this post.
Work setting
- Candidates must have experience in customer service and must attain dedicated experience in making deliveries or working as a driver to be eligible for this post.
