Job Description
- Candidates who applied for this post are appointed to start the day in the depot, sorting and preparing the day’s deliveries working at this post.
- They’re also appointed at this post to load and drive a Canada Post postal vehicle applied for this post.
- Applicants are required to return to the depot to unload the day’s incoming mail and packages for later delivery working at this post.
Job requirement
- Candidates must have a valid Class 5 or Class G driver’s license with a safe driving record for at least 3 years to be eligible for this post.
- Applicants must attain the physical ability to lift mail items weighing up to 22.7 kg and carry items weighing up to 15.9 kg regularly.
- They must attain the ability to work in all types of weather along with prior experience in customer service to be eligible for this post.
- Candidates must have prior experience making deliveries or working as a driver and ensure the availability to be on-call working at this post.
Work setting
- They must attain the availability to work between 5h00 am and 8h00 pm.
- Candidates must attain the ability to read, write and speak English and French to be eligible for this post.
