Job description

The candidate will be responsible for supporting early childhood educators in carrying out programs that promote the physical, cognitive, emotional and social development of children.
The candidate will be expected to engage children in activities such as storytelling, song teaching, and craft preparation.
The candidate will be required to prepare snacks and arrange rooms or furniture for lunch and rest periods.
The candidate will be required to have knowledge of licensing regulations.
The candidate will be required to establish guidelines for behavior.
The candidate will be required to lead activities by taking children to local points of interest.
The candidate will be required to guide and assist children in the development of proper eating.
The candidate will be required to bottle-feed infants and changing diapers when required
The candidate will be required to guide and assist children in the development of dressing and toilet habits.
The candidate will be responsible for maintaining daycare equipment as well as assisting with housekeeping and cooking duties.
The candidate will be required to assist early childhood educators or supervisors in keeping records.
The candidate will be required to encourage and assist each child in carrying out daily routines.
The candidate will be required to plan and maintain an environment that protects the health, security and well-being of children
The candidate would be responsible for assessing the abilities, interests and needs of children.
The candidate will be required to assisting the childcare educator in maintaining a safe and positive environment.
The candidate would be responsible for monitoring and supervising the children constantly.

Job Requirements

The candidate should be fluent in English language.
There are no standard education requirements such as a bachelor’s degree, a certificate, or a diploma.
Previous experience is not mandatory.
The candidate must have Emergency child care first aid and CPR certificate.
The candidate would be in charge of children aged one year, two years, three years, four years, and infants (3 months – 11 months)
The candidate must have prior experience working with children with intellectual disabilities.
The candidate should have experience with Children with behavioral issues.
The candidate should have experience with Children with allergies.
The candidate should have experience with Children with attention deficit hyperactivity disorder (ADHD) or attention deficit disorder (ADD).
The candidate should have excellent written and oral communication skills.
The candidate should be a good team player with enough interpersonal and judge-mental skills.
The candidate should give importance to values and ethics.
The candidate should be organised and flexible in nature.
The candidate should be punctual.
The candidate should be reliable.
The candidate should be dependable.
