Job Description
- Candidates working at this post are required to understand the customer and grant management systems and data architecture and transform them to meet business needs.
- They’re also appointed to recommend, conduct and monitor data collection, validation and dissemination projects and processes for the Canada Council activity.
- Candidates working at this post are appointed to develop and maintain corporate data sets used for the strategic analysis of data, identification of trends.
- They’re also appointed to undertake analysis and research concerning the activities of the Canada Council and the arts milieu in Canada and abroad.
- Candidates are appointed to coordinate the dissemination of research project results through reports, presentations, and web tools.
Job requirement
- Candidates must attain an undergraduate degree in social sciences, economics or related field of training or an equivalent combination of education and professional experience in related fields.
- Candidates must attain 5 years of experience directly related to the principal responsibilities of the position in a research or policy department.
- They must attain dedicated experience in extraction, validation and analysis of quantitative and qualitative data using surveys, data extraction and data visualization software.
- Candidates must attain dedicated knowledge of survey techniques, quantitative and qualitative research methods.
- They must have strong knowledge of the best practices and methodologies used in cost efficiency and program performance measurement.
- Candidates must attain the ability to analyze quantitative and qualitative data and be able to communicate credibly about research results and data.
