Job Description

  • The candidate will be responsible for escorting detainees in transit and during temporary leaves.
  • The candidate will be responsible for supervising offenders during work assignments, meals, and recreation periods.
  • The candidate will be responsible for patrolling assigned areas.
  • The candidate will be responsible for observing offender behavior and preparing reports.
  • The candidate must prepare admission, program, release, transfer, and other reports.
  • The candidate will be responsible for monitoring the behavior and conduct of offenders and detainees in order to prevent disturbances and escape.

Job Requirements

  • The candidate should be fluent in English or French languages.
  • The candidate must have a certificate of Secondary (high) school graduation.
  • Training will be provided to the selected candidate.
  • The candidate must have a First Aid Certificate and CPR certificate.
  • The candidate should be dependable.
  • The candidate should have effective interpersonal skills.
  • The candidate must have excellent oral and written communication skills.
  • The candidate should have good judgemental skills.
  • The candidate should be reliable.
  • The candidate should be a good team player.
  • The candidate should give importance to values and ethics.
