Job Description
- Candidates working in this post are appointed to develop and maintain stakeholder and volunteer databases.
- Candidates are also appointed to participate in the recruitment, screening, selection, training and coaching of program volunteers.
- Candidates working in this post are appointed to implement and support various volunteer program standards, practices and guidelines.
- Candidates must have coordinated administrative functions to support the volunteer program and stakeholder engagement working at this post.
- They’re also required to attend and/or facilitate local outreach events, provide support to volunteers and relay current policy/program information/updates.
- Candidates are also appointed to develop and maintain volunteer training content, training tools, outreach materials, newsletters, etc
- They’re required to develop program website content information and organize Divisional volunteer recognition programs and events.
Job requirement
- Candidates must have post-secondary education in a related discipline or a combination of relevant experience to be eligible for this post.
- They must have extensive experience participating, facilitating and/or delivering outreach-related initiatives.
- Candidates must have experience analyzing, developing, monitoring and administering programs and services for diverse audiences to be eligible for this post.
- They must be able to work flexible hours, including evenings, and weekends, and must be able to attend in-person events, activities and site visits across the City.
- They must attain possession of a G License to be eligible for this post.
- They must attain the ability to implement equity, diversity and inclusion frameworks in all work-related activities.
- Candidates must know about the Accessibility for Ontarians with Disabilities Act and accommodations principles.
- Candidates must attain the ability to implement project management principles and change management methodologies.

- They must attain the ability to deliver excellent customer service to a diverse group of customers/clients.
