Job description
- Candidates will plan and build Local Service Operating trains in TYRES for all designated areas.
- They will perform job briefs with crews for work assignments as required;
- They update scorecards based on the plan (what was requested by the customer) versus the actual (what was delivered to the customer) on a customer by customer basis.
- They will publish Industry Service Summary reports daily based on scorecard data.
Job requirement
- Candidates must have strong analytical ability.
- They must have strong organizational skills.
- They must have effective writing skills, problem resolution skills, and strong verbal communication abilities
- They must have the ability to exercise innovation, analytical, persuasion & influence skills in solving problems.
- They should have a cross functional understanding of rail operations.
- They must have the knowledge of work procedures and system applications used in Customer Service Operations.
- They should be demonstrated proficiency with Office productivity software (mainly Excel and Outlook).
Work setting
- Candidates must confirm all correct service exception reporting is entered across Canada and the US.
- They must provide AIR Support 24/7.
- They are accountable for planning, managing and directing customer shipments for designated local assignments.
- They should have the ability to review customer shipments and releases.
- They are responsible for tracking and developing metrics on CP performance.
