Job Description
- Applicants working at this post are required to provide technical guidance related to active transportation programs and infrastructure to the Mississauga Cycling Advisory Committee working at this post.
- They’re also required at this post to provide specialized input on active transportation programs and infrastructure during the development or undertaking of transportation master plans at this post.
- Applicants who have applied for this post are required to develop and implement policies related to active transportation programs and infrastructure working at this post.
- Candidates for this post are also required to provide input into the development of similar policies by consultants and outside agencies at this post.
- They’re required to develop data-driven strategies to improve the safety and comfort of active transportation infrastructure working at this post.
Job requirement
- Applicants for this post must have completed post-secondary graduate from a recognized university with a degree in urban studies, or transportation engineering to be eligible for this post.
- They must have 3 years of progressive experience in coordinating programs or projects in the field of active transportation to be eligible for this post.
- Applicants working at this post must have demonstrated experience in project management to get preferred for this post.
- Applicants must possess excellent interpersonal skills and a demonstrated ability to build and maintain relationships to be preferred for this post.
- Applicants must have prior excellent verbal, written communication and presentation skills to be eligible for this post.
Work setting
- Candidates working at this post must have prior experience working in a municipal government environment at this post.
