Job Description
- Candidates are responsible for performing various activities associated with supporting heritage planning within the Branch.
- They’re required to share their contribution in planning future proceedings in different departments.
- Candidates will have to work under the assistance of a senior heritage planner.
Job requirement
- Candidates must attain the ability to work either independently with minimal supervision, or as a member of a team and to quickly adjust as a result of changing and multiple priorities.
- They must ensure familiarity with the key legislation, core principles and considerations of heritage planning.
- Candidates must ensure familiarity with the City of Ottawa, its geography, its people, and some of the most pressing heritage planning issues.
- Candidates must attain the knowledge of computer software such as MS Office Suite.
Work setting
- Candidates must attain dedicated knowledge of the planning and development processes in Ontario and the role of heritage planning.
