Job Description
- The candidate must load, unload, and transport construction materials.
- The candidate must read blueprints to determine the work requirements.
- The candidate must be capable of erecting and dismantling concrete forms, scaffolding, ramps, catwalks, shoring, and barricades.
- The candidate will be responsible for mixing, pouring, and spreading materials such as concrete and asphalt.
- The candidate will be responsible for assisting in framing houses, erecting walls, and building roofs.
- The candidate must level earth to fine grade specifications.
- The candidate must assist in the demolition of buildings.
- The candidate must clean and pile salvaged materials.
- The candidate will be responsible for performing routine maintenance work.
- The candidate must remove rubble and other debris from construction sites.
- The candidate will be responsible for tending or feeding construction machines and equipment.
- The candidate will be responsible for directing traffic near construction sites.
Job Requirements
- The candidate should be fluent in English language.
- The candidate must have a certificate or diploma in other trades.
- The ideal candidate will have at least 3 to 5 years of experience in a related industry.
- The candidate must be able to handle weights up to 23 kg (50 lbs) and more than 45 kg (100 lbs.).
Work site environment
- The candidate will be required to work long hours in an outdoor environment.
- The candidate must be able to work at heights.
- The candidate will be required to work in confined spaces.
- The work site environment is noisy, and the candidate must be able to work with complete concentration even in such conditions.
