Job Description

  • The candidate must assist in developing engineering specifications and drawings.
  • The candidate must participate in field surveys, inspections, or technical investigations.
  • The candidate must prepare construction specifications, costs, and material estimates.
    The candidate will be responsible for preparing project schedules.
  • The candidate will be responsible for supervising or conducting field surveys, inspections, technical investigations, and construction material testing.

Job Requirements

  • The candidate should be fluent in English language.
  • The candidate must have a Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in civil engineering, general.
  • The ideal candidate will have at least 3 to 5 years of experience in a related industry.

Work site environment

  • The candidate will be required to work long hours in an outdoor environment.

Work setting

  • The candidate should be willing to relocate whether the candidate would be ready to move into a new city/different city for a job.

Experience and specialization

Computer and technology knowledge

  • The candidate must be familiar with CAE – computer-aided engineering, MicroStation, Plant Design Management System (PDMS), Tekla, Geographic Information System (GIS), 3D graphic software, AutoCAD, MS Access, MS Excel, MS Outlook, MS PowerPoint, MS Project and MS Word.
  • The candidate will be responsible for operating GPS (Global Positioning System) and other navigational equipment.

Civil engineering experience

  • The ideal candidate must have prior experience with buildings and structures, power plant, offshore structures, roads and highways and water control system and structures.

Area of specialization

  • The candidate must be knowledgeable about structural engineering, construction design and supervision, geotechnical engineering, land planning and development, and environmental protection.

  • The candidate must have their own transportation.
  • The candidate must be willing to travel.
