Job Description
- The candidate must load, unload, and transport construction materials.
- The candidate must be capable of erecting and dismantling concrete forms, scaffolding, ramps, catwalks, shoring, and barricades.
- The candidate will be responsible for mixing, pouring, and spreading materials such as concrete and asphalt.
- The candidate must assist in the demolition of buildings.
- The candidate must clean up chemical spills and other contaminants.
- The candidate will be responsible for tending or feeding construction machines and equipment.
Job Requirements
- The candidate should be fluent in French language.
- There are no standard education requirements such as a bachelor’s degree, a certificate, or a diploma.
- The ideal candidate will have at least 1 to less than 7 months of experience in a related industry.
- The candidate must have certifications in Asbestos abatement training, Personal protective equipment (PPE) training, Construction Safety Training Systems (CSTS), Workplace Hazardous Materials Information System (WHMIS), and Provincial/Territorial Asbestos Hazards.
- The candidate must be able to handle weight up to 23 kg (50 lbs).

Equipment and machinery experience
- The candidate must have experience using bobcats, concrete vibrators, reciprocating saws, circular saws, concrete saws, mortar and concrete mixers, grinding machines, jackhammers, air compressors, drills, small front-end loaders, compactors, sledgehammers, and hand tools.
Construction specialization
- The candidate must be skilled in the construction of industrial, commercial, institutional, and residential buildings.

- The candidate must have their own vehicle.
