Job Description
- The candidate must sweep, mop, scrub, and wax hallways, floors, and stairs.
- The candidate must be able to use industrial vacuum cleaners to remove scraps, dirt, heavy debris, and other waste.
- The candidate must empty trash cans and other waste containers.
- The candidate must clean windows, interior walls, and ceilings.
- The candidate will be responsible for making minor adjustments and repairs to heating, cooling, ventilation, plumbing, and electrical systems and contacting tradespersons for major repairs.
- The candidate must contact contractors for repairs and maintenance of the establishment.
- The candidate will be responsible for performing minor repairs to appliances.
- The candidate must move heavy furniture, equipment, and supplies.
- The candidate will be responsible for addressing customer complaints or concerns.
- The candidate will vacuum carpets, area rugs, draperies, and upholstered furniture.
- The candidate must dust furniture.
- The candidate must disinfect operating rooms and other areas.
- The candidate must sweep, mop, wash and polish floors.
- The candidate must clean, disinfect, and polish kitchen and bathroom fixtures and appliances.
Job Requirements
- The candidate should be fluent in the English language.
- There are no standard education requirements such as a bachelor’s degree, a certificate, or a diploma.
- The ideal candidate will have at least 1 to less than 7 months of experience in a related industry.
- The candidate should be dependable.
- The candidate must be well-organized.
- The candidate should be reliable.
- The candidate should have efficient interpersonal skills.
Work setting
- The candidate should be able to work in an apartment/condominium or an office building with two or more individually owned units.
- The candidate should work in various locations when employees are scattered across different worksites.
