Job Description
- Candidates working at this post are required to provide consultation regarding client issues and standards of care to nursing personnel and the interdisciplinary team working at this post.
- They’re also appointed at this post to encourage and promote relationships with outside organizations to meet client and community needs working at this post.
- They’re also appointed at this post to assume the duties of registered staff.
- Candidates for this post are required to manage the human resources activities of the community development with the development and implementation of policies and procedures.
- They’re also appointed at this post to provide leadership to the team in the development and implementation of corrective action plans and assess the effectiveness of corrective action plans.
Job requirement
- Candidates must attain a bachelor of Nursing, Bachelor of Science in Nursing to be eligible for this post.
- Candidates must have current registration with the College of Registered Nurses of Nova Scotia as an RN to be eligible for this post.
- They must have a minimum 5 years nursing experience which includes two years clinical nursing and 2 years’ administrative experience or equivalent to be eligible for this post.
- Candidates must have to desire to work in a progressive environment that embraces change to be eligible for this post.
- Candidates must have a positive approach to new initiatives and opportunities for improvement to be eligible for this post.
Work setting
- They must have prior knowledge of the principles of supervision, organization, and administration to be eligible for this post.
- They must have dedicated knowledge of departmental and provincial policies and practices affecting work to be eligible for this post.
