Job description

  • Candidates will counter work in a climate-controlled environment.
  • They may require extended time standing at the counter depending on customer volume.
  • They work independently often and are in public view for the entire shift, front facing customers. Unable to leave the area without coverage in place.
  • They must be available to be scheduled on at least 4 shifts each week.

Job requirement

  • Candidates should have at least successful completion of a Post-Secondary Diploma in Business Administration or suitable equivalent.
  • They must have a minimum of two years clerical / administrative, public relations, and cashier experience. Municipal experience is considered an asset.
  • They must have competency in computer literacy utilising most current MS Office Software applications including proficiency in Word, Excel, and Outlook.

Work setting

  • Candidates must have the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment. 
  • They need to be organised and have effective time management skills.
  • They should have undergone Robbery and Counterfeit Prevention training.
  • They must have exceptional customer service skills, with the ability to manage multiple points of inquiry and the varying needs of patrons.
