Job Description

  • People accountable at this post to lead efforts to enhance the City’s reputation and brand identity, including overseeing marketing campaigns and promotional activities to raise awareness and drive engagement working at this post.
  • Candidates are accountable at this post to provide strategic guidance and support to senior leadership on communication, engagement, and organizational change matters.
  • Applicants accountable at this post to develop and implement programs to foster employee engagement, promote a positive organizational culture, and strengthen relationships with internal stakeholders working at this post.
  • Candidates are also required to be the champion of DEI initiatives, embedding principles of equity and belonging into all aspects of communication and engagement working at this post.

Job requirement

  • Candidates must attain a bachelor’s degree in Communications, Public Relations, Journalism, or related field.
  • Candidates must have 10+ years of progressive leadership experience in communications roles to be eligible for this post.
  • They must attain exceptional strategic thinking and the ability to translate vision into actionable plans and initiatives.
  • People must have a deep understanding of diverse communication channels and emerging trends in the field to be eligible for this post.
  • Candidates must have strong business acumen and a passion for driving organizational change, innovation, and continuous improvement to be considered as an asset for this post.
