Job Description 

  • Applicants who applied for this post are appointed to triage assigned support calls and client inquiries at the 2nd level and dispatch calls to other support teams working at this post.
  • Candidates are also appointed for imaging and Deployment of PCs to support PC Replacement working at this post.
  • Candidates are also appointed to participate in PC Life Cycle and IT Asset Management processes working at this post.
  • Applicants are also required to work under the general direction of the Supervisor, Information Technology Service working at this post.
  • Candidates are also required to provide front-line Help Desk Call Centre telephone support.

Job requirement 

  • Candidates must be enrolled in a post-secondary Information Technology program to be eligible for this post.
  • They must be familiar with a wide variety of software like Microsoft Windows 10, and Microsoft Windows 7 to be eligible for this post.
  • Applicants must attain mobile device management experience to be considered as an asset for this post.
  • Applicants must have exceptional customer service skills with a commitment to service excellence, quality and client communication to be preferred for this post.
  •  Applicants must have the ability to attend various City sites to get preferred for this post.
  • Applicants must have occasional bending and lifting of equipment of up to 40 lbs to be preferred for this post.

  • Candidates appointed at this post to process voicemail and email requests for support working at this post.
  • Candidates are also required to log support calls from clients and enter appropriate data into the Help Desk database working at this post.
