Job Description
- Candidates working at this post are appointed to record data for statistical purposes.
- They’re also appointed to answer routine telephone and in-person inquiries from police personnel, members of the legal profession and members of the public.
- Candidates are also appointed to maintain various records and distribute information on the disposition of cases.
- Candidates working in this post are appointed to distribute court and police procedure forms, documents and correspondence.
- They’re also appointed to sort and distribute mail and facsimile messages.
- Candidates are also appointed to ensure updates to daily timesheets (TRMS) for members and perform various computer checks as requested.
- Candidates may also be required to attend court and give evidence.
- They’re also appointed at this post to perform typical duties inherent to the position.
Job requirement
- Candidates must attain a Grade 12 or an approved equivalent combination of education, training and experience to be eligible for this post.
- They must have 6 months of related experience and excellent interpersonal skills to interact with members of the Service, external agencies, and the public.
- Candidates must attain exceptional customer service skills that are essential to provide support and guidance.
- They must possess effective time management, organizational and multitasking skills.
- Candidates must have excellent communication skills to effectively respond to inquiries to be eligible for this post.
- Candidates must ensure attention to detail and accuracy in updating information and must have good oral and written communication skills.
