Job Description
- Applicants are accountable at this post to place a review and process Charity Rebate applications.
- They’re also accountable for reviewing and processing Outdoor Maintenance Subsidy applications working at this post.
- Candidates accountable at this post to provide written or verbal responses to inquiries relating to the above rebate and subsidy programs.
- People accountable at this post for discharging tax loan liens and preparing Certificates of Mailings for tax billings working at this post.
- Applicants interested in this post prepare and compile packages for tax bills being sent to tax agents.
- Applicants who applied for this post are required to prepare, update and maintain information regarding financial assistance for older adults working at this post.
Job requirement
- Candidates must have completed post-secondary education with a focus in accounting, business or public administration to be eligible for this post.
- They must have completed a minimum of 2 years of experience in municipal tax or an equivalent combination of customer service and administrative experience to be eligible for this post.
- They must have completed the Municipal Tax Administration Program and must attain the ability to manage sensitive information with a high level of confidentiality to be eligible for this post.
- They must be flexible with the rotation of duties and hours of work and must maintain a Hybrid office environment with regular attendance at City Hall to get preferred for this post.
