Job Description

• The candidate will be responsible for supervising and coordinating workers’ activities.
• The candidate will be responsible for inspecting sites or facilities to ensure safety and cleanliness standards.
• The candidate must assist cleaners in performing duties.
• The candidate must coordinate work activities with other departments.
• The candidate must establish work schedules.

Job Requirements

• The candidate should be fluent in English language.
• The candidate must have a certificate of Secondary (high) school graduation or equivalent experience.
• The ideal candidate will have at least 1 to less than 7 months of experience in a related industry.
• Fluency in Arabic and Judeo-Arabic is an asset.
• The candidate must be able to supervise 5 to 10 people.
• The candidate will be responsible for supervising janitors, caretakers, building superintendents, and light duty cleaners.

Work site environment

• The candidate must be able to work in wet/damp, dusty, hot, cold/refrigerated and dirty conditions.
• The candidate must work in an environment with a high concentration of odours.
• The candidate will be required to work long hours in an outdoor environment.

Work setting

• The candidate should work in an office building; quality workspace design leads to a less stressful and more productive atmosphere.
• The candidate should work in a cleaning service company to create a clean and hygienic environment.
• The candidate should work in a commercial facility, any facility used in connection with or by any commercial operation including, but not limited to, grain elevators, warehouses, dryers, processing plants, or cold storage facilities used for the storage and handling of any agricultural product, whether paid or unpaid.
• The candidate must work in an industrial plant, a hospital/medical facility or clinic.
• The candidate should work in a hotel, motel, or resort with additional sports and leisure facilities framed in a natural environment that attracts visitors beyond the room.
• The candidate should be able to work in a school or educational institution/establishment comprising establishments that provide instruction and training in various subjects.
• The candidate should work in residential settings, handling tasks on one, two, and three-family dwellings.
• The candidate should work in a shopping centre or mall and provide a business place that includes retail space/units, facilities, and services to potential retailers.
• The candidate should work in restaurants that are generally fast-paced and require the utmost efficiency.
