Job Description
- Candidates are responsible for the City Archives as the corporate authority for making final determinations on the archival value of corporate records and for documenting municipal decision-making.
- They’re inviting people to provide equal treatment to people with disabilities concerning the use and benefit of City services, programs, goods, facilities and information through the Corporate Accessibility Office.
- Candidates are also responsible for establishing and promoting an overall framework for the cost-effective and coordinated management of the City’s information holdings, regardless of their form, and throughout their entire life cycle through the Information Management Branch.
Job requirement
- Candidates must have completed a 4-year university degree in Law, Business Administration, Public Administration or another related field.
- They must attain a minimum of 10 years of experience in the areas of municipal elections, elected official support, and procedure by-law administration.
- Candidates must attain knowledge of applicable laws, rules, ordinances and regulations including the Municipal Act, Municipal Elections Act, Municipal Freedom of Information and Protection of Personal Privacy.
- They must know the rules of procedure and legislative protocols.
