Job Description

  • The candidate must assume full responsibility for the household (in absence of householder).
  • The candidate must perform light housekeeping and cleaning duties.
  • The candidate must bathe, dress, and feed infants and children.
  • The candidate will be responsible for instructing children in personal hygiene and social development.
  • The candidate will be responsible for maintaining a safe and healthy environment in the home.
  • The candidate will be responsible for organizing activities for children, such as games and outings.
  • The candidate must prepare and serve healthy meals.
  • The candidate will be responsible for supervising and caring for children.
  • The candidate will be responsible for transporting children to and from school and appointments.
  • The candidate will be responsible for the emotional well-being of children.

Job Requirements

  • The candidate should be fluent in English language.
  • The candidate must have a certificate of Secondary (high) school graduation or equivalent experience.
  • The ideal candidate will have at least 1 to 2 years of experience in a related industry.
  • The candidate must be well-organized.
  • The candidate should be reliable.

Work setting

  • The candidate should work in the employee’s home. Working from home allows employees to meet childcare needs, cut down on commute time, and fit their work around their personal lives.
  • The candidate should work in optional accommodation, an adjustment to a job or work environment that makes it possible for an individual with a disability to perform their job duties.
