Job Description
- The candidate will be expected to conduct life skills workshops.
- The candidate must assess clients’ needs or eligibility for specific services.
- The candidate will be in charge of resolving conflict situations
- The candidate will be required to keep programme statistics for evaluation and research purposes.
- The candidate will be responsible for screening, recruiting, and training volunteers and support staff.
- The candidate will be responsible for developing, coordinating, and implementing specific community services.
- The candidate will be expected to assist clients/guests with special needs.
- The candidate will be expected to gather information and write reports or case studies.
- The candidate will be in charge of conducting individual and group counselling sessions.
- The candidate will be in charge of assisting in the evaluation of the effectiveness of treatment programmes.
- The candidate will be expected to participate in regular training and development opportunities to stay current on safeguarding, health and safety, and local policy developments.
- The candidate will be expected to build relationships with young people based on respect and trust, ensuring they have a safe environment in which to develop their identity and place in society.
- The candidate will be responsible for ensuring that health and safety standards are met.
- The candidate will be expected to help with administrative and office tasks.
Job Requirements
- The candidate should be bilingual.
- The candidate should have minimum qualification of College or CEGEP.
- The ideal candidate should have at least 2 to 3 years of work experience in a related industry.
- The candidate must have a First Aid Certificate, a CPR Certificate, a Non-violent Crisis Intervention (NVCI) Certificate, HIGH FIVE training (healthy child development principles), and emergency child care first aid and CPR.
- The candidate should be a good team player with enough interpersonal and judge-mental skills.
- The candidate should be organized and flexible in nature.
- The candidate should give importance to values and ethics.
