Job Description

  • The candidate must be able to operate cleaning machines.
  • The candidate will be responsible for cleaning the building’s exterior, tanks, chimneys, and industrial equipment.
  • The candidate will be responsible for transferring stock to trucks’ tanks and packing it into special containers.
  • The candidate will be responsible for operating heavy equipment.
  • The candidate will be responsible for monitoring safety conditions.
  • The candidate will be responsible for maintaining equipment.
  • The candidate must assist in the development of standards, health and safety measures.
  • The candidate must apply chemicals.
  • The candidate will be responsible for light cleaning duties.
  • The candidate will be responsible for cleaning machinery and equipment.

Job Requirements

  • The candidate should be fluent in English language.
  • The candidate must have a certificate of Secondary (high) school graduation.
  • The ideal candidate will have at least 2 to 3 years of experience in a related industry.
  • The candidate must be able to lift more than 45 kg (100 lbs).
  • The candidate must be well-organized.
  • The candidate should be reliable.
  • The candidate should be a good team player.
  • The candidate must be punctual.

Work site environment

  • The candidate will be required to work long hours in an outdoor environment.
  • The candidate must be able to work in wet/damp, dusty and dirty conditions.
  • The work site environment is noisy, and the candidate must be able to work with complete concentration even in such conditions.
  • The candidate must be able to operate heavy equipment.

Work setting

  • The candidate’s relocation costs should not be covered by the employer; if the company does not provide a relocation package, you may request an advance on your earnings to cover some of your moving expenses.
  • The candidate should be willing to relocate whether the candidate would be ready to move into a new city/different city for a job.
  • The candidate should be involved in the maintenance, repair, and maintenance of machines, mechanical equipment, and buildings.

Experience and specialization

Technical experience

  • The candidate must be familiar with sanitation and hygiene.

Equipment and machinery experience

  • The candidate must have experience using chemical cleaning equipment, industrial vacuum cleaners/power sweepers, power tools, pressure washers, and steam cleaners.

Cleaning experience

  • The candidate must have prior experience cleaning industrial equipment, municipal drains, and septic tanks.

Mining design specialization

  • The candidate must be specialised in the design of waste and tailings disposal systems.

Additional information

Security and safety

  • The candidate should be subjected to a thorough criminal background check.

Transportation/travel information

  • The candidate must have their own transportation.

Work conditions and physical capabilities

  • The candidate must perform manual dexterity tasks.
  • The candidate should have an eye for details.
  • The candidate must be willing to work in a standing position for extended periods of time.
  • The candidate must be willing to work long hours in bending, crouching, and kneeling positions.
  • The candidate should be required to handle heavy loads as part of routine work.

Own tools/equipment

  • The candidate must have steel-toed safety boots.
