Job Description

  • The candidate will be required to manage customer transactions using cash registers.
  • The candidate will be expected to cross-sell and introduce new products.
  • The candidate would be in charge of collecting payments, whether in cash or by credit card.
  • The candidate would be in charge of scanning items and ensuring that pricing is correct.
  • The candidate would be in charge of accepting payment for goods or services.
  • The candidate would be in charge of greeting customers, answering their questions, assisting them in finding items, and providing advice or recommendations.
  • The candidate will be required to provide excellent customer service.
  • The candidate will be expected to monitor all entrances and exits and to request proof of payment as needed.
  • The candidate will be expected to assist customers with self-checkout.
  • The candidate will be expected to keep current on all promotions and special offers.
  • The candidate would be in charge of calculating daily/shift payments and reconciling them with total sales.
  • The candidate would be in charge of stocking shelves and cleaning the counter area.
  • The candidate would be in charge of resolving customer complaints, guiding them, and providing pertinent information.
  • The candidate would be in charge of issuing receipts, refunds, change, or tickets.
  • The candidate would be in charge of redeeming stamps and coupons.
  • The candidate would be in charge of keeping the checkout areas clean and tidy.
  • The candidate would be in charge of keeping track of transactions on balance sheets and reporting any discrepancies.
  • The candidate would be in charge of handling merchandise returns and exchanges in a quick, efficient manner.
  • The candidate will be required to oversee price changes on daily basis and manage cash register as needed.
  • The candidate would be responsible for reporting suspicious activities in the store to appropriate authorities
  • The candidate would be in charge of entering price changes using price sheets and special sale bulletins.
  • The candidate would be in charge of balancing the cash drawer by counting cash at the start and end of each work shift.
  • The candidate would be in charge of ensuring a safe and clean working environment by adhering to procedures, rules, and regulations.
  • The candidate will be required to build positive work environment to achieve store goals.
  • The candidate would be in charge of contributing to the team effort by achieving related results as needed.
  • In order to determine prices, the candidate will be required to weigh items sold by weight.
  • The candidate would be in charge of promoting customer loyalty programmes.
  • The candidate would be in charge of returning unsold items to the shelves.
  • The candidate would be in charge of memorising product locations throughout the store and directing customers or making suggestions.
