Job Description
- Candidates working in this post are required to ensure cashiers comply with all Store Standards and schedule cashier staff hours, days off and vacations within established guidelines.
- They’re also required to train employees in job functions and provide ongoing coaching and instructions.
- Candidates for this post are appointed to assist with completing performance reviews of cashier staff in conjunction with the FSM.
- They’re also appointed to ensure exceptional customer service is provided beyond expectation working at this post.
- Candidates are required to ensure employees present a proper image to the public by the Uniform Policy.
- They’re also appointed to ensure cashiers ask for a PC Optimum Card during each transaction.
- Candidates for this post are appointed to promote all company initiatives of PC Optimum, fundraising with customers and employees working at this post.
- Candidates are responsible for cash-focused promotions/offers and ensure that all cashiers are aware of weekly promotions and scanning code of practice.
- Candidates for this post are also required to ensure that the lottery trays are to standard, locked, and follow legislative lottery policy.
Job requirement
- Candidates must have supervisory and labour management experience to be eligible for this post.
- They must have dedicated experience with retail or grocery and cash handling.
- They must have superior interpersonal skills and efficient time management ability to be eligible for this post.
- They must have financial analysis ability, and strong verbal and written communication skills to be eligible for this post.
