Job Description
- Candidates working at this post are appointed to complete required forms and documentation to ensure client files are accurate, and up to date, and that the information required supports decisions working at this post.
- They’re also required at this post to support members of the general public, including vulnerable people, community agencies, and housing providers working at this post.
- Applicants at this post are appointed to participate in team and inter-agency meetings and provide suggestions for service improvement initiatives working at this post.
- They’re also appointed at this post to participate on internal committees such as Joint Health and Safety.
Job requirement
- Candidates for this post must have a prior degree or diploma in Social Services and experience in the area of social/community services to be eligible for this post.
- Applicants must have experience assisting clients with accessing programs and services that they may be eligible for along with making referrals to community agencies specifically.
- They must acquire dedicated experience interpreting and applying legislation, policies and criteria to determine program eligibility for clients to be eligible for this post.
- Applicants must have excellent oral communication and interpersonal skills to be preferred for this post.
- They must have excellent written communication skills and analytical skills including reporting on program referrals to be eligible for this post.
Work setting
- They’re also required at this post to maintain and retrieve referral records and submit activity data including identifying unusual referrals to supervisors working at this post.
