Job Description
- Candidates working as a regional junior communication officer are required to work under general supervision, for the development and implementation of communications products and services.
- The regional communication advisor is also responsible for the development of communications plans, provision of advice, guidance and leadership in the development of products and services.
Job requirement
- Candidates must attain a dedicated degree from a recognized post-secondary institution or an acceptable combination of education, training and experience.
- They must have dedicated experience in writing and editing products or briefing materials.
- Candidates must attain dedicated experience in conducting research and providing recommendations.
- They must have experience in building and maintaining relationships with external partners/or stakeholders.
- Candidates must have dedicated experience in providing communications services to clients.
- They must be experienced in providing strategic advice and guidance to clients and management.
- Candidates must attain experience in media relations activities such as media monitoring or responding to requests for information from the media.
- They must have dedicated experience in writing speeches for senior management to be eligible for this post.
Work setting
