Job Description

  • The candidate must load, unload, and transport construction materials.
  • The candidate must be capable of erecting and dismantling concrete forms, scaffolding, ramps, catwalks, shoring, and barricades.
  • The candidate must be able to mix, pour, and spread materials.
  • The candidate will be required to assist in the framing of houses, the erection of walls, and the construction of roofs.
  • The candidate must pave and rake asphalt.
  • The candidate must clean and stack salvaged materials.
  • The candidate must remove rubble and other debris from construction sites.
  • The candidate must be able to read and interpret blueprints.

Job Requirements

  • The candidate should be fluent in English language.
  • The candidate must have a certificate of secondary (high) school graduation or equivalent experience.
  • The ideal candidate will have at least 5 years of experience in a related industry.
  • The candidate must be able to lift up to 45 kg (100 lbs) and more than 45 kg (100 lbs).
  • The candidate should be accurate.

Experience and specialization

Equipment and machinery experience

  • The candidate must have experience using various tools such as bushing guns, reciprocating saws, circular saws, concrete saws, mortar and concrete mixers, grinding machines, grouting machines, jackhammers, air compressors, air guns, nail guns, drills, augers, compactors, sledgehammers, and hand tools.

Construction specialization

  • The ideal candidate must have prior experience constructing driveways, industrial, commercial, and institutional structures, as well as pipelines, residential, and water systems.
