Job Description

  • The candidate will be responsible for advising customers on completed work and future repair needs.
  • The candidate must provide excellent customer service.
  • The candidate will be responsible for adjusting, repairing, or replacing parts and components of automotive systems.
  • The candidate must test and adjust units to specifications.
  • The candidate must perform scheduled maintenance service.
  • The candidate must complete reports to record problems and work performed.
  • The candidate will test and adjust repaired systems to meet manufacturer specifications.
  • The candidate must adjust, repair, or replace parts and components of commercial transport truck systems.
  • The candidate must adjust, repair, or replace parts and components of truck-trailer systems.
  • The candidate must estimate the parts and labour costs for vehicle maintenance and repairs.
  • The candidate will inspect and test mechanical units to locate faults and malfunctions.
  • The candidate must repair or replace mechanical units or components.
  • The candidate must test automotive systems and components.
  • The candidate must conduct road tests on motor vehicles.
  • The candidate will be responsible for reviewing work orders.
  • The candidate must inspect motors in operation.
  • The candidate will inspect mechanical units to locate faults and malfunctions.

Job Requirements

  • The candidate should be fluent in English or French.
  • The candidate must have a certificate or diploma in other trades or equivalent experience.
  • The ideal candidate will have at least 1 to 2 years of experience in a related industry.
  • The candidate must have Automotive Service Technician Trade Certification.
  • The candidate should be reliable.
  • The candidate should be a good team player.

  • The candidate must work in a motor vehicle repair shop or garage setting.

  • The candidate must have experience in repairing and servicing Heating, ventilation, and air conditioning (HVAC) systems.
