Job Description
- Candidates working in this post are appointed to support strategic continuous improvement projects to streamline processes, reduce errors, and create efficiencies.
- They’re also appointed to develop, implement, and monitor procedures and tools such as dashboards, SharePoint sites, and databases to support process improvement efforts.
- Candidates are appointed to research new technologies at how they can improve processes and reduce gaps within Capital Infrastructure or Parks Infrastructure teams.
- They’re also appointed to conduct research and compile strategic planning inputs.
- Candidates are also required to conduct data gathering, analysis, and generate recommendations or reports related to finance and funding topics. Implement identified recommendations to optimize financial management and funding allocation.
- They’re also appointed to prepare summary reports and presentations for senior management and committees of the Council.
Job requirement
- Candidates must attain a degree in Business, Management, Economics, Commerce, Planning, Engineering, or any other field to be eligible for this post.
- They must attain at least 5 years of experience in areas such as strategic and financial planning, project management, and business improvement.
- Candidates must attain advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office to be eligible for this post.
- They must have dedicated experience with facilitation, data analysis, business analysis, public policy and working knowledge of various analysis methodologies.
- They must have dedicated knowledge and experience in business analytics, performance metrics and process improvement methodologies.
- Candidates must have experience working in a municipal environment or related to be preferred for this post.
Work setting
- Candidates must have dedicated working experience in management consulting and Lean Black Belt to be eligible for this post.
