Job requirement
- Candidates must attain a valid and current Class 2 Nova Scotia driver’s license with air brake endorsement to be eligible for this post.
- Candidates must attain a minimum of 2 years driving record that is free of at-fault accidents, convictions, suspensions and revocations.
- Candidates must attain dedicated experience operating public passenger-carrying vehicles and commercial transit buses.
- They must attain dedicated experience in communication with the public, and customer service to be eligible for this post.
- Candidates must attain the ability to effectively assist and communicate with visitors, staff and partners.
- They must attain the ability to greet clients and respond to questions and complaints.
- Candidates must be able to wear a Parks Canada uniform and any PPE that may be required.
- They must be able to work shift work, overtime, weekends, statutory holidays, territorial holidays and call back or standby duty.
- They must be able to frequently stand or sit for long periods and be able to occasionally lift to 10 kg.
- They must attain a dedicated reliability status security clearance to be eligible for this post.
