Job Description

• The candidate must operate buses, school buses, or streetcars to transport passengers.
• The candidate must maintain control of student activities while travelling to avoid distractions or behaviours that endanger safety.

Job Requirements

• The candidate should be fluent in the English language.
• There are no standard education requirements such as a bachelor’s degree, a certificate, or a diploma.
• The ideal candidate will have at least 1 to 2 years of experience in a related industry.
• The candidate must have a Class 1/1F/A Licence (semi trailer trucks), Class 2/2F/C Licence (buses with more than passengers), Class 4/4F/F/4A-B-C Licence (ambulances, emergency vehicles, and buses with fewer than 24 passengers), Provincial or Territorial Commercial Vehicle Licence (Class 4 or E), Driver’s Licence (Class 2 or B or C), and Driver’s License (Class 3 or D).
• The candidate should have efficient interpersonal skills.
• The candidate should be organized and flexible.
• The candidate should be reliable.
• The candidate should be a good team player.

• The candidate should be subjected to a thorough child abuse registry check, criminal background check and driving record check (abstract).

• The candidate must have a valid driver’s licence.
