Job Description
- The candidate must adjust, repair, or replace parts and components of commercial transport truck systems.
- The candidate must confirm findings with the supervisor to determine whether to repair or replace the unit.
- The candidate must discuss work with supervisor.
- The candidate will be responsible for inspecting and testing mechanical units to locate faults and malfunctions.
- The candidate must inspect mechanical units to locate faults and malfunctions.
- The candidate must inspect motors in operation.
- The candidate will be responsible for reviewing work orders.
- The candidate will be responsible for conducting road tests on vehicles.
- The candidate will be responsible for testing automotive systems and components.
- The candidate will be responsible for adjusting, repairing, or replacing parts and components of automotive systems.
- The candidate must adjust, repair, or replace parts and components of truck-trailer systems.
- The candidate must repair or replace mechanical units or components.
- The candidate will be responsible for testing and adjusting repaired systems to meet manufacturer specifications.
- The candidate must estimate the parts and labour cost to perform vehicle maintenance and repairs.
- The candidate must perform scheduled maintenance service.
- The candidate will be responsible for advising customers on completed work and future repair requirements.
- The candidate must complete reports to record problems and work performed.
Job Requirements
- The candidate should be fluent in English or French languages.
- The candidate must have a certificate of Secondary (high) school graduation or equivalent experience.
- The ideal candidate will have at least 5 years of experience in a related industry.
