Job Description
- Applicants working at this post are required to operate a computerized Building Automation System to manage building systems.
- They’re also appointed at this post to perform general maintenance work in connection with mechanical and electrical equipment, building services and facilities.
- Applicants are also required at this post to maintain a preventative maintenance program and records.
- They’re also required to operate air conditioning equipment including centrifugal chillers and cooling towers.
- Applicants for this post are also required to perform plumbing repairs not requiring the services of a tradesman.
- Candidates are also required to effect minor repairs to building equipment and fixtures and perform related maintenance work as assigned including the use of ladders and scaffolding working at this post.
Job requirement
- They must have completed secondary school and possess a technician qualification in a building trade or an equivalent combination of education and experience to be preferred for this post.
- Applicants must have prior experience in the maintenance and operation of large computerized commercial buildings to be eligible for this post.
- Candidates applying for this post must attain dedicated experience in air distribution systems as related to modern air conditioning systems.
- They must have prior experience in the maintenance of pumps and large air-handling equipment to be preferred for this post.
Work setting
- Applicants for this post must have prior knowledge of automatic heating and cooling controls including pneumatic systems to be eligible for this post.
- They must attain an ability to read blueprints and a dedicated ability to read and perform tasks outlined in technical manuals and
