Job Description

  • The candidate will be expected to solve work-related issues.
  • The candidate will be required to prepare and submit reports
  • The candidate will be expected to prepare budgets and track revenues and expenses.
  • The candidate will be required to prepare, present and manage budgets
  • The candidate must ensure the accuracy of financial transactions.
  • The candidate must coordinate activities with other work units or departments.
  • The candidate will be expected to manage finances or create a budget.
  • The candidate would be responsible for determining organizational finance capacities, calculating financial constraints, and approving budget strategies.
  • The candidate would be responsible for establishing standards and procedures to guide the administration of organizational budgeting.
  • The candidate would be responsible for creating strategies to optimize our organization’s budgets and spending.
  • The candidate would be responsible for monitoring spending patterns and implementing measures to promote adherence to budgets.
  • The candidate would be responsible for implementing and maintaining accounting best practices to ensure the financial good standing of the organization
  • The candidate will be expected to provide financial analysis and strategic input to help management make high-level decisions.
  • The candidate must communicate complex accounting concepts to management and staff.
  • The candidate will be responsible for developing and formulating departmental and organisational budgets in collaboration with relevant people and organisations.
  • The candidate will be expected to maintain strong relationships with external auditors, lawyers, and regulatory authorities.
  • The candidate will be in charge of reporting on and explaining budget decisions to external stakeholders.
  • At the end of each reporting period, the candidate would be responsible for identifying variances between actual and budgeted financial results.
  • The candidate would be in charge of suggesting cost-cutting measures that would increase profits.
  • The candidate will be expected to plan, organise, and supervise a team of professional and clerical employees who work on budget analysis, economic analysis, accounting, system automation, and the preparation of departmental operating and capital budgets.
  • The candidate should be able to generate financial reports.
  • The candidate will be required to analyze financial information/processes (e.g. cash management, expenditures, and revenues) for ensuring that all operations remain within budget.
  • The candidate will be required to present budgets to upper management on an annual basis
  • The candidate will be responsible for ensuring that the Department Managers submit a budget on time.

  • The candidate should be fluent in English language.
  • The candidate should have minimum qualification of College, CEGEP or equivalent experience in Business/Commerce, General
  • The ideal candidate should have a minimum 5 years of working experience in similar industry

  • The candidate should have strong knowledge in Financial and budget administration.
  • The candidate should be knowledgeable about forecasting methods and data analysis.
