Job Description
- Candidates working in this post are appointed to provide input in the development of the division’s annual budget utilizing information on operational requirements, staffing requirements, known pressures and required adjustments.
- Candidates for this post are also required to assist management in the administration of the assigned budget.
- Candidates for this post are required to provide sound advice, guidance and analytical services regarding budget and financial issues.
- They’re also appointed at this post to prepare budget reduction scenarios involving operational or labour relations issues.
- Candidates are required to ensure that expenditures are controlled and maintained within approved budget limitations by analyzing financial data.
- Candidates at this post monitor in-year operating and capital budget adjustments and position adjustments.
Job requirement
- Candidates must have post-secondary education in a relevant discipline related to the job function like Accounting, Financial Management or Business Administration to be eligible for this post.
- They must have dedicated experience extracting, organizing and analyzing large amounts of data from MS Excel.
- Candidates must have dedicated analytical, conflict resolution and problem-solving skills, with the ability to develop.
- Candidates must recommend and implement effective solutions to be eligible for this post.
