Job Description

  • The candidate must calculate and prepare cheques for payroll
  • The candidate must calculate fixed assets and depreciation.
  • The candidate will be responsible for keeping financial records as well as establishing, maintaining, and balancing various accounts using manual and computerized bookkeeping systems.
  • The candidate will be responsible for maintaining general ledgers and financial statements.
  • The candidate must post journal entries.
  • The candidate must prepare additional statistical, financial, and accounting reports.
  • The candidate must prepare tax returns.
  • The candidate must prepare a trial balance of books.
  • The candidate must reconcile accounts.
  • The candidate must prepare payroll.

Job Requirements

  • The candidate should be fluent in English language.
  • The candidate must have a certificate or diploma in other trades or equivalent experience in accounting technology, technician, or bookkeeping.
  • The ideal candidate will have at least 2 to 3 years of experience in a related industry.
  • The candidate should be accurate.
  • The candidate should be dependable.
  • The candidate should have effective interpersonal skills.
  • The candidate should be a good team player.
  • The candidate must have excellent time management skills.

  • The candidate must work in the head office.

Computer and technology knowledge

  • The candidate must be familiar with Accounting software, Human resources software, MS Excel, MS Outlook, MS PowerPoint, MS Word, Quick Books, Spreadsheet and Computerized bookkeeping system.
