Bookkeeper

Northcrest Energy Corp. based in White Rock, BC is inviting applications from suitable candidates for the position of Bookkeeper who are self-motivated and have good interpersonal skills. The candidate who got selected will be required to start work as soon as possible. The vacancies refer to Permanent employment or Full time job. The candidate will be required to work the day shift from 09:00 a.m. to 17:00 p.m. The candidate will also have the option of working remotely.

Job Description

  • The candidate will be expected to compute and prepare payroll cheques.
  • The candidate must calculate fixed assets and depreciation.
  • The candidate will be required to keep financial records and to establish, maintain, and balance various accounts using manual and computerised bookkeeping systems.
  • The candidate will be expected to keep general ledgers and financial statements up to date.
  • The candidate must post journal entries.
  • The candidate must prepare additional statistical, financial, and accounting reports.
  • The candidate must prepare tax returns.
  • The candidate must prepare a trial balance of books.
  • The candidate will be required to reconcile accounts.

Job Requirements

  • The candidate should be fluent in English language.
  • The candidate must have a certificate of secondary (high) school graduation or equivalent experience.
  • The ideal candidate will have at least 1 to 2 years of experience in a related industry.
  • The candidate should be accurate.
  • The candidate should be client focused.

  • The candidate should be organised and flexible in nature.
