Job Description
- Candidates who applied for this post are required for the training and development of internal staff as well as external stakeholders working at this post.
- They’re also required to perform research proposals related to patient care or paramedic operations and the provision of logistics working at this post.
- Candidates applied for this post to provide preventative maintenance, inspection, repairs, quality assurance and consultation of all electronic medical devices working at this post.
- They’re accountable at this post to provide written and verbal reports to the Logistics Coordinator as required, provide policy and procedures/memos pertaining to equipment, and correspond with equipment manufacturers and distributors working at this post.
Job requirement
- Candidates must have completed a 3-year community college diploma in Biomedical Engineering Technology to be eligible for this post.
- They must have completed a minimum of 5 years of related experience with thorough knowledge of supply and equipment needs of EMS Operations to be eligible for this post.
- They must have previous Quality Assurance experience and must be able to supply the equipment needs of Emergency Medical Services Operations to be preferred for this post.
- Candidates must be able and must have prior knowledge of Word processing software such as Excel and Word, as well as basic Internet and e-mail, to be preferred for this post.
Work setting
- Candidates who applied for this post are responsible for the financial aspects of all bio-medical and electro-medical equipment within the Emergency Medical Services, Fire Services, Police Services and Public Access Defibrillation Programs working at this post.
