Job Description

  • The candidate will be expected to perform body care/treatments.
  • The candidate must create custom designs.
  • The candidate has to do permanent hair removal.
  • The candidate will be expected to provide general information about beauty products to customers.
  • The candidate will be expected to advise customers on beauty products that are appropriate for their skin type and skin colour.
  • The candidate will be in charge of performing exfoliation treatments as well as laser hair removal.
  • The candidate will be expected to use standard design styles.
  • The candidate must clean, trim, and polish nails.
  • The candidate must tint their eyebrows.
  • The candidate must provide scalp treatment.
  • The candidate will be in charge of performing spider vein treatments, facials, and glycolic acid treatments.
  • The candidate will be required to have their own clientele.
  • The candidate must perform cashiering duties.
  • The candidate must provide product demonstrations.
  • The candidate must make and confirm appointments.
  • The candidate will be expected to sell products from establishments.
  • The candidate will be required to perform manicures, pedicures, relaxation massages, skin care, skin peels, and waxing.
  • The candidate must refer clients with unusual skin conditions to physicians.
  • The candidate will be in charge of eyebrow threading and eyelash extensions.

Job Requirements

  • The candidate should be fluent in English language.
  • The candidate must have a certificate or diploma from a College, CEGEP, or other non-university programme lasting one to two years, or equivalent experience.
  • The ideal candidate will have at least 1 to 2 years of experience in a related industry.
  • The candidate must be certified as an esthetician.
  • The candidate should be accurate.
  • The candidate should be client focused.
  • The candidate should be dependable.
  • The candidate should have effective interpersonal skills.
  • The candidate must have excellent oral communication skills.
  • The candidate must be capable of acting on their own initiative.
  • The candidate must be well-organized.
