The Parlour Restaurant is located at Vancouver, BC. The company is currently looking for applications for the role of Bartender. We are in search of a self-disciplined individual with outstanding interpersonal skills. The selected applicant will be required to join and take their responsibilities at the earliest. The open positions are for Permanent employment or Full time job. The timings of shifts may be Day, Evening and Weekend.

Job Description

• The candidate will be responsible for cleaning the bar area and washing glassware.
• The candidate will be responsible for hiring and dismissing employees.
• The candidate must train staff.
• The candidate must collect cash, credit/debit cards, or other forms of payment for beverages.
• The candidate will be responsible for recording and balancing beverage sales.
• The candidate will be responsible for ordering bar stock, maintaining inventory, and controlling bar stock.
• The candidate will be responsible for enforcing provincial/territorial liquor laws and regulations.
• The candidate must prepare mixed drinks, wine, draft or bottled beer, and non-alcoholic beverages.
• The candidate must take beverage orders from serving staff or directly from customers.

Job Requirements

• The candidate should be fluent in English language.
• The candidate must have a certificate of Secondary (high) school graduation.
• Candidate having experience is an asset.
• The candidate must be able to supervise 3 to 4 people.
• The candidate must have Bartender/Mixology Course Certification.
• The candidate should be client focused.
• The candidate should have effective interpersonal skills.
• The candidate must have excellent oral communication skills.
• The candidate must be capable of acting on their own initiative.
• The candidate must be well-organized.
• The candidate should be reliable.
• The candidate should be a good team player.
• The candidate must have a positive attitude.

Work setting

• The candidate must work in an adult entertainment establishment.
• The candidate should work in an urban area with a high population density.
