Job Description
- Candidates working at this post are appointed to assemble, measure, and combine large quantities of ingredients according to Costco formulas.
- They’re appointed to use a calculator to adjust formulas for alternate yield working at this post.
- They’re appointed at this post to follow department production procedures and standards for the quality and consistency of finished products.
- Candidates are appointed to provide prompt and courteous member service.
- They’re required at this post to assist with other bakery duties as needed.
- Candidates for this post are required to use power equipment to mix and prepare bakery products, such as dough rollers, muffin depositors and crust machines.
- They’re appointed to operate a power mixer to prepare batter, frosting and fillings for baked goods.
- Candidates are also appointed to roll, cut and shape dough for breads and pastries.
- Candidates are appointed to bake products in large ovens, monitor ovens and remove baked products to cooling racks at appropriate times.
- They’re also appointed to monitor sanitation, temperatures, pull dates, comply with health code and follow safety and security procedures.
Job requirement
- Candidates must have completed a high school diploma or GED to be eligible for this post.
- Candidates must have completed food safety certification at Level 1 to be eligible for this post.
- Candidates must have baker experience and must be able to communicate in French to be eligible for this post.
- They must assist in other areas of the warehouse to be eligible for this post.
