Job Description

• The candidate will be responsible for performing minor repairs and adjustments to equipment.
• The candidate must operate machines to join sections of garments or other articles into finished products on a piece-work or production basis.
• The candidate must be able to operate sewing machines as well as sew by hand.
• The candidate must use sewing guides and tension devices.
• The candidate will be responsible for operating machinery and equipment.

Job Requirements

• The candidate should be fluent in English language.
• There are no standard education requirements such as a bachelor’s degree, a certificate, or a diploma.
• Candidate having experience is an asset.
• The candidate should be accurate.
• The candidate should have good judgemental skills.
• The candidate must be well-organized.
• The candidate should be reliable.

• Materials include canvas, cotton or synthetic, leather, vinyl, and nylon.

• The candidate must be able to distinguish between colours.
• The candidate should have an eye for details.
• The candidate must have excellent hand eye coordination.
• The candidate must perform manual dexterity tasks.
• The candidate should be required to perform repetitive tasks on frequent basis.
• The candidate should be willing to work for long hours in sitting positions.
