Job Description
- The candidate will be responsible for supervising automotive technicians and motor vehicle mechanics.
Job Requirements
- The candidate should be fluent in English language.
- The candidate must have a Registered Apprenticeship certificate.
- The ideal candidate will have at least 2 to 3 years of experience in a related industry.
- The candidate must have Automotive Service Technician Trade Certification, Tire, wheel and rim mechanic Certification, Automotive Service Technician (Fuel and Electrical Systems) Trade Certification, Automotive Service Technician (Transmission) Trade Certification, Automotive Service Technician (Steering, Suspension and Brakes) Trade Certification, Motor Vehicle Repairer (Service Station Mechanic) Trade Certification and Automotive Service Technician Red Seal Certificate.
Work setting
- The candidate must work at an automotive service station.
Apprenticeship training
- The candidate must have a Level two apprenticeship training certificate and a Level three apprenticeship training certificate.
Experience and specialization
Policy and program experience
- The candidate must have prior experience with apprenticeship training.
Additional information
Security and safety
- The candidate’s driving record should be thoroughly checked (abstract).
Own tools/equipment
- The candidate must have tools and steel-toed safety boots.
