Job Description

The candidate must adjust, repair, or replace parts and components of commercial transport truck systems.
The candidate must confirm findings with the supervisor to determine whether to repair or replace the unit.
The candidate must discuss work with the supervisor.
The candidate will be responsible for inspecting and testing mechanical units to locate faults and malfunctions.
The candidate must inspect mechanical units to locate faults and malfunctions.
The candidate must inspect the motor in operation.
The candidate must review work orders.
The candidate will be responsible for conducting road tests on motor vehicles.
The candidate will be responsible for testing automotive systems and components.
The candidate will be responsible for adjusting, repairing, or replacing parts and components of automotive systems.
The candidate will be responsible for adjusting, repairing, or replacing truck-trailer system components.
The candidate must repair or replace mechanical units or components.
The candidate will be responsible for testing and adjusting repaired systems to meet manufacturer specifications.
The candidate must estimate the parts and labor costs to perform vehicle maintenance and repairs.
The candidate must perform scheduled maintenance service.
The candidate must test and adjust units to specifications.
The candidate must complete reports to record problems and work performed.
The candidate will be responsible for coaching and instructing apprentices.

Job Requirements

The candidate should be fluent in English language.
The candidate must have a Registered Apprenticeship certificate or equivalent experience.
The ideal candidate will have at least 3 to 5 years of experience in a related industry.
