Job Description 

  • Applicants working in this post are appointed to provide clinical supervision of students, new employees or provisional Audiologists as per guidelines.
  • They are also required at this post to work collaboratively with management in proposing, planning and participating in the implementation of services and audiology programming at this post.
  • Candidates working in this post are appointed to participate in the performance review process and goal-setting to enhance work performances.
  • Candidates will have to serve as a public consultant regarding hearing conservation matters through the provision of educational materials and instructional in-services working at this post.
  • Applicants are required at this post to identify appropriate rehabilitation options related to the client’s audiological needs.
  • They are also appointed at this post to refer clients to other professional clinicians as applicable.

Job requirement 

  • They must attain the ability to display independent judgment along with the ability to respect and promote a culturally diverse population.
  • They must attain the ability to respect and promote confidentiality along with the ability to perform the duties of the position regularly to get preferred for this post.
  • Candidates must acquire a dedicated Clinical Masters Degree in Audiology from an accredited or approved university to be eligible for this post.
  • They must have current registration with the College of Audiologists and Speech-Language Pathologists of Manitoba.

Work setting 

  • Applicants for this post must have a province of Manitoba Class 5 Driver’s License to be eligible for this post.
  • Applicants must have leadership, written and oral communication skills to be eligible for this post.
  • They must have skilled ability in the assessment, identification and treatment of clients in varying ages and diagnosis.
