Job Description
- Candidates working at this post are required to organize, prioritize and assume responsibility for caseload working at this post.
- Candidates are also required to apply audiology knowledge and skills to provide optimum individualized and continuous assessment working at this post.
- They’re appointed at this post to collaborate with clients on the planning, implementation, and progression of the treatment plan.
- Applicants are also required to provide education and counselling to the client and family members working at this post.
- They’re also appointed at this post to provide supervision and guidance to Audiology Assistants and Newborn Hearing Screeners in Prairie Mountain Health working at this post.
Job requirement
- Candidates for this post must have completed a clinical master’s degree in Audiology from an accredited or approved university to be eligible for this post.
- Candidates must have current registration with the College of Audiologists and Speech-Language Pathologists of Manitoba to be preferred for this post.
- They must ensure eligibility for membership with Speech-Language & Audiology Canada.
- Applicants must acquire prior proficiency with Microsoft programs as well as Internet applications to be eligible for this post.
- They must have a dedicated Class 5 Drivers License, and access to a personal vehicle to provide service within the Prairie Mountain Health to get preferred for this post.
Work setting
- Applicants for this post must have demonstrated leadership skills along with Demonstrated written and oral communication skills to be eligible for this post.
